The AP Invoice Approval history data is stored in embedded H2DB files. Refer to the H2 Database Engine documentation for database administration information. You should periodically back up your AP Invoice Approval database files for future migration purposes. To do so, complete the following steps.

  1. Navigate to the location, [drive:]\<PerceptiveConnectRuntimeInstallDir>\APApproval.
  2. Search for the following files: ApprovalHistoryH2DB.h2.db and ApprovalHistoryH2DB.trace.db.
    Note: ApprovalHistoryH2DB.h2.db is the main database file, whereas ApprovalHistoryH2DB.trace.db is a supporting file used by H2 Database Engine.
  3. Copy the files and paste them to a suitable location for future use such as data migration following a server upgrade.
