The Out of Office functionality lets you set, update, and delete an Out of Office event in the Perceptive Content server and allows other people know when you are not available. To set and manage an Out of Office event, complete the following steps.

  1. To set an Out of Office event, on the top menu bar, select Out of Office.
  2. In the Begin Date box, set the start date from which you plan to be out of the office.
  3. Optional. In the End Date box, set the end date until which you plan to be out of the office.
  4. In the Reason list, select a reason from the listed options.
  5. Optional. In the Delegate User list, select a user name from the listed users.
  6. Optional. In the Comments box, type the message that you want to display when you are out of the office.
  7. To save the information, select Enable. After it is enabled, you can revisit this page any time before the end date to update or turn off the Out of Office event details, if your plans change. You can turn off the Out of Office event by selecting Disable.
    Note: The Out of Office event is turned off automatically after the specified end date has expired.
