In GL Lines on the web interface, you can find errors and warnings associated with a field, line, or the entire grid. The following indicators help you identify whether the GL Lines have errors and warnings.
- A yellow horizontal bar on the top of the grid indicates warnings in GL Lines.
- A red horizontal bar on the top of the grid indicates errors in GL Lines.
If both, errors and warnings are present in GL Lines, the horizontal bar is red.
- Fields with a yellow outline and a warning icon outside the box indicate warnings in the field. Move the pointer over the warning icon to see the warning messages.
- Fields with a red outline and an error icon outside the box indicate errors in the
field. Move the pointer over the error icon to see the error and warning
messages.
If a field has both, errors and warnings, the outline is red with an error icon outside the box.
- A button with the error and warning icons is visible on the right side of the GL
grid toolbar that displays total number of errors and warnings in GL Lines.
- Click the icons to see the error and warning messages.
- Click errors or warnings associated with a field to navigate to the field.
Clicking errors or warnings associated with a line selects the line.
If there are no errors or warnings in GL Lines, a green check mark appears instead of the error and warning icons.
Note: Errors and warnings specific to a line or grid are visible only from the icons on the toolbar. Errors and warnings specific to a field that is hidden are unavailable.
