To add or edit data in a GL line, complete the following steps.

  1. Log in to your app and navigate to the GL Lines grid.
  2. In a GL line, to edit or to add data, click the appropriate box.
  3. After the insertion point appears in the box, add or edit the data.
    The administrator can associate an autocomplete feature with any box in the grid. The autocomplete box can look like a simple text box or a hybrid box with a drop-down button. As you type in the autocomplete box, the matching values populate in a drop-down. You can select the appropriate value.
    In a hybrid autocomplete box, if you click the drop-down button all values are displayed irrespective of the typed value.
    Administrator can specify a minimum length of text that must be typed to populate matching results in the list.
    Administrator can specify the maximum number of matching results that can appear in the drop-down when you type in the autocomplete box.
  4. Press Tab, Enter, or click outside the field to validate the data.
