When you purchase Fax Agent, you receive a license file. Only a user with privileges to manage licenses can complete this task. To install your license, complete the following steps.

1. Copy the license file provided by your Perceptive Software representative to a temporary folder where you can access it with a Perceptive Content Client.
2. On the Start menu, point to All Programs, point to Perceptive Content, and click Perceptive Content.
3. In the Perceptive Content login dialog box, click License Manager.
   The License Management dialog box opens.
4. Select Upload licenses and click OK.
5. Browse to the license file from its temporary directory, click Open, and then click OK.
6. In the License Generation - Server Information dialog box, perform the following substeps.
   1. In the User ID and Password boxes, type your user name and password.
   2. In the Server Name or IP Address box, type the Perceptive Content Server computer host name or IP address.
   3. In the Port Number box, type the port number of the Perceptive Content Server computer host.
   4. Click Ok.
7. In the License Upload dialog box, verify that the status of the license is SUCCESS and click Close.
