Set up Fax Agent to fax out While Running Remotely - Fax Agent Installation and Setup Guide - Foundation 24.1 - Foundation 24.1 - Ready - Perceptive Content - external

If you install Fax Agent remotely, you must configure the [Fax Out] settings in the inow.ini file. If you do not configure this option, the Send to Fax option in Fax Agent is dimmed and unavailable. To configure Fax Agent to fax out while running remotely, complete the following steps.

1. On the Perceptive Content Server computer, navigate to the Perceptive Content shared etc directory $(IMAGENOWDIR6)\etc folder and open the inow.ini file in a text editor.
2. Under [Fax Out], set fax.out.integration to TRUE.
3. Save and close the file and restart the Perceptive Content Server using Windows Computer Management by completing the following substeps.
   1. On the Windows Desktop, right-click the My Computer shortcut and select Manage.
   2. In the Computer Management dialog box, click Services and Applications.
   3. Click Services.
   4. In the right pane, locate and select the service titled Perceptive Content Server.
   5. In the upper left-hand corner of the right pane, click Restart.
