To create a new basket you can add to a basket group in Package Mode, complete the following steps.

Before completing this procedure, you must create the basket group.
  1. On the Perceptive Content toolbar, click Settings > Options.
  2. In the Options dialog box, in the left pane, click Capture.
  3. In the right pane, under Package Settings, click Manage Group List.
  4. In the Basket Manager dialog box, select the basket group to which you want to add a basket and click Modify.
  5. In the Basket Group dialog box, on the Baskets tab, click Add.
  6. In the New Basket Definition dialog box, on the General tab, perform the following substeps.
    1. In the Name box, type a unique basket name.
    2. To require the user to remove all documents from the basket before submitting the package to Perceptive Content Server, select the Require basket is empty check box.
    3. To assign document property values to each basket page individually, or to assign document property values using barcodes, select the Assign properties by page check box.
To assign document property values using barcodes, you must select the Assign properties by page check box. Select this option when you set a document property Type to Barcode or when, in a Package Mode capture profile, you define a VB script to read barcodes.
    4. To save the scanned pages in a folder, select Save a document to a folder.
  7. Under Properties, double-click a document property to modify it, and keep the following guidelines in mind.
    • Generally for Package Mode, you set document properties to the Basket level and Application type, with at least one document property set to the Page level.
    • If you selected the Save a document to a folder check box, you must define Path, Name, and Doc Type. When a user submits captured files to Perceptive Content Server, Perceptive Content saves files with a matching path and name in the same document.
    • If you did not select the Save a document to a folder check box, you must define Drawer, Doc Type, and one of the following properties: Field1, Field2, Field3, Field4, Field5. When a user submits the captured files to Perceptive Content Server, Perceptive Content saves files with matching document key values in the same document.
    • If a key is set to Null, Perceptive Content does not set up a field for that key.
  8. To have this basket use a different capture profile than the other baskets in the group, select the Profile check box and perform one of the following actions.
    • To assign a capture profile to this basket, in the Profile list, select a capture profile.
    • To allow a user to select a capture profile in Viewer to capture into this basket, in the Profile list, select Use selected Capture Profile.
  9. On the Workflow tab, in the Send to list, choose one of the following options.
    • To prevent captured files from entering a workflow queue, verify that None is selected.
    • To route captured files to a workflow queue, select the queue name.
  10. Optional. To submit the document to Recognition Agent for bar code scanning, on the OCR/Content tab, select the Submit to Content Server check box.
  11. In the New Basket Definition dialog box, click OK.
  12. Click OK and repeat the previous steps to create each basket that you need for the basket group.
