To create a new client-based capture profile, complete the following steps.

  1. On the iScript toolbar, click Capture > Manage Capture Profiles.
  2. In the Capture Profiles dialog box, click Create.
  3. In the New Capture Profile dialog box, on the General tab, under General, type a name and optional description.
  4. Under Type, in the Source list, select one of the following options.
    • To capture documents from a file source, select File.
    • To capture documents from a scanner source, select Scanner.
    • To capture documents from ImageNow Printer, select ImageNow Printer.
  5. Optional. If defining an ImageNow Printer capture profile you want to use as the default, select the Set as the default Printer profile.
  6. Under Type, in the Mode list, select one of the following options.
    • To capture documents in Single mode, select Single.
    • To capture documents in batch mode, select Batch.
    • To capture documents in Package Mode, select Package.
  7. Optional. To submit the new document to Recognition Agent for bar code scanning, select the Submit to Content Server check box.
  8. If defining a single mode or batch mode profile, under Workflow, in the Send To list, choose one of the following options.
    • (None). Skips routing the document to any workflow queue.
    • (Prompt User). Prompts a user to select a workflow queue to which the user has Add access.
    • The name of a destination queue. Routes the document to the selected queue.
  9. In the New Capture Profile dialog box, click OK.
