    Situation Steps
To store documents in a folder in a content model

    2. Under Document Key, double-click Path.
    3. In the Key Definition dialog box, select whether the Application plan defines path or User selects existing folder at capture.
To store documents based on document keys

    2. In the Key Definition dialog box, define the type and value.
  4. To define the remaining keys, keep the following guidelines in mind:
    • If you did not specify to save the document in a content model, you must define Drawer, Doc Type, and one of the following keys: Field1, Field2, Field3, Field4, or Field5.
    • If you specified to save the document in a content model, you must define Path, Name, and Doc Type.
    • To have Perceptive Content gather the property value from the application plan, from the Type list, select Application.
    • If you enabled automatic processing on the Batch tab, custom properties associated with the Doc Type property do not apply.
    • If you enabled barcode grouping, you must set at least one property type to Barcode.
    • If you set a property to Empty, Perceptive Content does not set up a field for that property.
  5. Click OK.
