  1. To define output content settings in Management Console, in the left pane, under Select Department, select a department from the list and perform one of the following actions, depending on the situation.
    Situation Steps
    Define print output content settings
    1. In the right pane, click the Print tab, select the output profile, and click Modify.
    2. In the Output Profile dialog box, click the Output tab.
    3. Under Annotation, select an option to include in the output.
    Define email and file output content settings
    1. In the right pane, click the Email or File tab, select the output profile, and click Modify.
    2. For email, in the Output Profile dialog box, select the Output tab and in the Method list, select Attachment.
    3. In the Output Profile dialog box, click the Content tab.
    4. Under File Generation, in the Name format list, select an option to name the output file.
    5. If you select Custom, under File name, enter a name for the output file.
    6. Optional. Under Image color conversion, select a color option.
    Define fax output content settings
    1. In the right pane, click the Fax tab, select the output profile, and click Modify.
    2. In the Output Profile dialog box, click the Content tab.
  2. To define output content settings from the viewer, open the item and perform one of the following actions, depending on the situation.
    Situation Steps
    Define print output settings from the viewer
    1. In the viewer, click File > Print.
    2. In the Print dialog box, click Options.
    3. In the Print Output Options dialog box, under Include, select the elements you want to include in the output.
    4. Under Header Includes and Footer Includes, select the elements you want to include in the header and footer.
    5. Click OK.
    Define file output settings from the viewer
    1. In the viewer, click File > Export.
    2. In the Export dialog box, click Options.
    3. In the File Output Options dialog box, click the Content tab.
    4. Under Name format, select an option to name the output file.
    5. If you select Custom, under File name, enter a name for the output file.
    6. Optional. Under Image color conversion, select a color option.
    Define email output settings from the viewer
    1. In the viewer, click File > Send to > Email.
    2. In the Email dialog box, under General, in the Method list, select Attachment.
    3. Click Options.
    4. Under File Generation, in the Name format list, select an option to name the output file.
    5. If you select Custom, under File name, enter a name for the output file.
    6. Optional. Under Image color conversion, select a color option.
    Define fax output content settings from the viewer
    1. In the viewer, click File > Send to > Fax.
    2. In the Fax dialog box, click Options.
  3. Optional. Under Include, select the elements you want to include in the output.
  4. Optional. Under Header Includes and Foot Includes, select the elements you want to include in the header and footer.
  5. Click OK.
