To restrict the types of documents users can add to a drawer, complete the following steps.

  1. In Management Console, in the left pane, under Select Department, select a department from the list.
  2. In the left pane, click Drawers.
  3. In the right pane, on the Drawers tab, select the drawer and click Modify.
  4. In the Modify Drawer dialog box, click the Document Types tab, and select the Allow only selected document types check box.
  5. Optional. To filter the available document types according to the list in which they were assigned, in By list, select a document type list.
  6. In the Available list, select a document type and click Add. Repeat this step for each document type that you want to specify for the drawer.
  7. Click OK.
