To create an OSM tree for an OSM set, complete
the following steps.
- In a Command Prompt window, navigate to the [drive:]\inserver\bin64 directory.
- Run the intool --cmd add-osm-tree --type FSS command.
- In the OSM Tree Name system prompt, enter a name for the cache OSM tree.
- In the OSM Set Name system prompt, enter the OSM set name that was used for the cache OSM set.
- In the OSM Tree Description system prompt, enter a description for the cache OSM tree.
- In the Enter Mirror On system prompt, enter 0 to turn off mirroring.
- In the OSM Tree Path system prompt, enter a valid path for the tree you just created. For example, [<drive>]:\inserver\osm_99.00001.
- In the OSM Tree Next Slot system prompt, enter a slot value. For example, 00000000/00000000/00000000.
- In the Enter Media Type system prompt, enter 0 for magnetic media type.
- In the Files Per Directory in OSM Tree system prompt, enter a numeric value.
- In the Retries system prompt, enter a numeric value.
- In the Delay system prompt, enter a value for the number of seconds to delay before a retry.
A confirmation message is displayed when the OSM tree is added.
