After setting up the servers on real machines, set up the real servers on a VLAN interface. To add them to the hardware load-balancer configuration, complete the following steps.

These servers exist on the same subnet as the VLAN interface.

  1. Open the Cisco ACE configuration tool.
  2. Click the Config tab.
  3. Add a new server by clicking the + (plus) symbol.
  4. In the Server Name field, enter the server name.
  5. In the IP address field, enter the IP address.
  6. In the Connection limits field, enter the connection limits.
