You can drag a folder of files from your computer to Perceptive Content to capture the files as new documents. This procedure does not add documents to subfolders. To drag a folder of files to Perceptive Content, complete the following steps.
- Drag the folder of files you want to import from your computer to the Perceptive Content toolbar or to ImageNow Explorer.
- Assign properties to the document using one of the following procedures.

Optional. Under
Document Options, select any of the following.
- To place the new document under version control, select Add to version control. You must have a Document Control Suite license to use this option.
- To submit the new document to Recognition Agent for bar code scanning, select Submit to Content Server.
- To route the new document to a workflow queue for further review or processing, select Send to workflow queue.
- To create a shortcut to the document in another folder, select Create shortcut in folder. A shortcut allows you to reference the document in multiple folders while maintaining the integrity of the document in a single location. If you choose to create a shortcut, the Select Location dialog box will appear when you click on the Folder icon. Refer to Select location for more information.
- To add the current file and move to the next file, click OK.
- Repeat the previous steps for each file in the folder.
Each new document displays in a separate viewer.
