Depending on your organization's business processes, the steps you take to import a package of files might differ from this procedure. To import a package of files and assign property values using a LearnMode application plan, complete the following steps.

This procedure requires a capture profile set to Package Mode and File source, and a LearnMode application plan with the ability to assign document property values.
  1. In your business application, display the object to which you want to link your imported files.
  2. On the Perceptive Content toolbar, click Applications and select the application plan for your business application.
  3. To access Package Mode, perform one of the following actions.
    Situation Steps
    The Basket Group Selection dialog box displays when you log in to Perceptive Content.
    1. Select the check box next to the baskets you want to use for processing.
    2. Click OK.
    The Basket Group Selection dialog box does not display when you log in to Perceptive Content.
    • On the Perceptive Content toolbar, click Capture > Package Mode.
  4. In ImageNow Viewer - Package, click View > Package.
  5. On the Package toolbar, in the Capture Profiles list, use the already selected capture profile or select a new capture profile.
  6. On the Package toolbar, click Capture.
  7. In the Package pane, to move a document from its receiving basket to another basket, in the basket group tree, drag the document from its receiving basket and drop it under the basket where you want it to appear.
  8. To enter additional property values for a document, under its basket, click the document to open it, and in the Properties pane, make your changes.
  9. After you import and update all of the files, click Submit.
