To change a custom property or composite property value for an item, complete the following steps.

  1. Open the item.
  2. In a viewer, click View > Properties.
  3. In the Properties pane under Custom Properties, type or select a value in the property.
If an arrow icon appears to the left of the property, it is a composite property, where you can type or select a value for each row that appears. For this type of property, you can also add a new set of properties if needed.
  4. Optional. To add a new composite property row or set, right-click the property name and then do one of the following options:
    • If Insert Row appears, click it and then type or select a value in the new row.
    • If Insert Property Set appears, click it and then type or select any values that you want to store in the new set.
  5. Optional. To reset rows to default values, right-click the row you want to reset and then click either Reset Row or Reset Property Set. To remove rows or sets, right-click the row you want to remove and then click either Delete Row or Delete Property Set.
  6. In the File toolbar, click the Save button.
