To manually assign property values to a file after it was captured in a batch, complete the following steps.
If your business process requires the quality
assurance step, you must quality assure the batch before completing
this procedure.
- On the Perceptive Content toolbar, click Batches > Ready for Linking.
- In the search results grid, double-click the batch to which you want to assign property values.
- In the viewer, identify the displayed page from its name, account number, or other distinguishing information.

In the Properties pane, under Document
Keys, perform one of the following actions:
Situation Steps To store a document or physical file reference at the drawer level - Under Location, under Drawer, select the name of the drawer where you want to store the document.
- Enter an optional name for the document.
- In the property assignment dialog box, under Properties, define values for Field1 through Field5.
To store a document or physical file reference in a folder - Under Location, click Drawer > Path.
- In the Set Location dialog box, in the Drawer list, select the drawer that contains the folder.
- In the Folder name box, type part or the entire folder name and click Search.
- In the Select path box, select the path that points to the folder where you want to store the document and click OK.
- Under Location, in the Name box, type a document name.
- In the property assignment dialog box, under Properties, define values for Field1 through Field5.
If you did not select a path, you must define at least one of the fields. - In the Type list, select a document type.
- If custom properties display for the selected document type, under Custom Properties, select or type a value for each custom properties where needed.
- Optional. Under Notes, add additional text to describe the document.

On the Batch Link toolbar, click the Save
Batch Page
button.
Perceptive Contentdisplays the next page in the batch.
- Assign property values to each remaining file in the batch.
