Document properties include information about a document that Perceptive Content uses to store, secure, and retrieve a document.

The information that is included in document properties includes the following:

  • The values that describe the document that appear in the Drawer, Field1 through Field5, and Type fields.
  • Created and modified information, custom properties, workflow history, version history, task history, and retention history.
  • For a document stored in a folder, document properties also include the document name, path, and information about the folder where the document is stored.

You can define a set of these properties to customize your Perceptive Content system for your organization's business needs. You define how properties are assigned to a document, as well as the type of information that can be assigned, in an application plan, a capture profile, or a basket definition.
