To view and open folder locations where a document has shortcuts, complete the following steps.

  1. Open the document.
  2. Click Folders > View Shortcut Locations.
If there is only one shortcut location to the document, the folder containing the shortcut automatically opens. If multiple shortcut locations exist, the View Shortcut Location dialog box appears, showing paths to all shortcut locations to that document.
  3. Optional. If there are multiple shortcut locations, you can refine the results in the View Shortcut Location dialog box using one or more of the following options.
    • To filter the list to a particular drawer, in Drawer, select a drawer name.
    • To filter the list to locations with a specific folder type, in Folder type, select a folder type.
    • To open the folder location for a shortcut when multiple shortcut locations are listed, in Path, select the path to the shortcut location and click View Location.
