To create a composite property, complete the following steps.
- In Management Console, in the left pane, click Custom Properties.
- In the right pane, click .

In the New Composite Property dialog
box, in the Name box, type the name of the
composite property and do the following substeps:
- Optional. In the By Type list, select the data type of the custom property you want to add.
- In the Available list, select a custom property you want to include in the composite custom property and then click Add.
- Repeat the previous substeps until you have added all the custom properties you need.
- Optional. To reorder the hierarchy of custom properties within the composite, in the Added list, select the property you want to reorder and then click Move Up or Move Down.
- Click OK.
You can assign the composite property to a document type,
folder type, record type, or record folder type.
