ELM 6.9.1 Release
This guide contains information about new features, product enhancements, and updates in the Saperion ELM version 6.9.1 product.
Before you install or upgrade Saperion ELM, refer to the Prerequisites section in the Install Guideline topic and ensure that the required prerequisites are installed. For additional information about system requirements, refer to the current Saperion Technical Specification.
New feature
- Saperion ELM now supports certificate thumbprint based authentication as an authentication method while connecting to Office 365 using PowerShell. (SECM-2968)
- In case of emails sent on behalf of another person, the sender property in Saperion ELM now includes the name of the person on whose behalf the email was sent. (SECM-3258)
- The permission synchronization is now able to read trustees even if they are O365 users. (SECM-3607)
- Introduced a new app icon for the ELM Configuration application. (SECM-3715)
- Introduced a new option in the settings to perform EML conversion that saves the MIME content of the email as an EML file and converts it to MSG file format using redemption. (SECM-3719)
Updates
- Resolved an issue where mailboxes were imported using display name instead of email address, which created a conflict while importing mailboxes with similar display names. (SECM-3185)
- Resolved an issue where the Import mailbox wizard tried to reimport existing users. (SECM-3186)
- Resolved an issue by adding a setting in the config file that now enables configuring the timeout period for PowerShell runspace. (SECM-3314)
- Resolved an issue where emails with special characters in the subject line could not be downloaded in Archive Web. The issue occurred on specific browsers. (SECM-3320)
- Resolved an issue where shortcut could not be created for signed emails, when the emails included non-printable characters in the body. (SECM-3371)
- Resolved an issue where the restore or export functionality of the archived email failed to set the correct body type for some of the embedded messages. (SECM-3453)
- Resolved an issue where body text in the embedded message at lower levels were missing in some archived emails from journal mailbox. (SECM-3626)
- Resolved an issue where some embedded messages did not include the body and extension when some MAPI properties were missing in the email. (SECM-3669)
- Resolved an issue that did not allow copying of UNICODE characters to ANSI emails. (SECM-3713)
- Resolved some issues by upgrading Redemption 5.4 to version 6.3. (SECM-3916)
- Resolved an issue where ELM evaluated Resend functionality incorrectly and reset message classes of regular shortcuts instead of only backup shortcuts. (SECM-3978)
