Important Enhancements
- Java 17 is required for Saperion Foundation EP7. (SECM-5796)
- Tanuki service wrapper is now replaced with Windows Service Wrapper for components, such as Java Core Server, IXOS connector, and Business Rule Server. To upgrade to Windows Service Wrapper, see the Update Guide. For additional information on how to configure the Windows Service Wrapper, refer to the online help for Saperion Foundation EP7. ECM Services
- The installer file for Saperion Foundation EP6 includes code example for ECMS JAVA SDK. (SECM-773)
- The ECM Service API can now retrieve revision information of a document. (SECM-2577)
- ECMS API can now be used to retrieve revision history of a document. (SECM-2638)
- Saperion ECM authentication service now recognizes and authenticates refresh tokens along with access tokens. (SECM-2745
- Improved the RSA token authentication in ECM Service to avoid validation of expired token. (SECM2768)
- Legacy storage service client SDK now receives app key and app secret to make request to legacy storage service. (SECM-2855)
- Blocked the TRACE and TRACK requests to ECM and Authentication services. (SE-3007)
Rich Client
- Multi-search for String(Unicode) fields is now supported. (SECM-2)
Web Client
- Documents can now be uploaded from ShareBase to Saperion. (SECM-1949)
- Hyland Viewer now supports English and German languages. (SECM-2011)
- Improved the error messages in Hyland Viewer. (SECM-2025)
- Upgraded PDFjs viewer to version 2.9.359. (SECM-2039)
- You can now activate litigation hold, prolong retention, and reduce disposition from Web Client. (SECM-2525)
- Hyland Viewer can now operate without ECM service. Henceforth, installation of Hyland Rendering and Conversion Service on the IIS server is not supported. (SECM-2529)
- Improved the default configuration of Web Client to support OWASP best practices. (SECM-2629)
- Hyland Viewer is now the default viewer in Web Client. (SECM-2742)
- Resolved an issue where annotations in the document were visible in the view pane mode of Hyland Viewer when the document was selected and uploaded using Web Client. (SECM-2717)
- Single Sign-on is supported on OneDrive. (SECM-2746)
- You can now upload and share Saperion documents to OneDrive from Web Client. (SECM-2781)
- Document links shared by a user can now be opened by other users in sapwebviewer when SAML 2.0 is implemented. (SE-2945)

- Resolved an issue where adding a document to an existing document structure using C# SDK / REST-API version 8.5.0 changed the creation date of existing documents in the structure. (SECM-2670)
- Improved security by resolving the deserialization vulnerability for C3P0 classes. (SECM-2687)
- Improved the Media DB commit process to avoid serious errors. (SECM-2749)
- Improved log handling by extending MediaUid logging to find "lost" media during server runtime, correcting MediaDBSQL logging, and making different archive log levels configurable using the INI file. (SECM-2866)

- Added example configuration to find deleted documents with Business Rules Server. (SECM-2718)
