Using the Hyland Product Documentation Portal

You can create a topic for your own personal book to further expand on an existing topic, or to add information you deem necessary. The topic you create is added only to your personal book, and can only be viewed from your personal book.

To write a new topic for your personal book:

  1. Click Personal books from the My Library menu. The Personal Books screen is displayed.
  2. Select the personal book to which you want to add a topic. The personal book is displayed.
  3. Click Edit personal book.

    The Edit personal book pane is displayed.

  4. Select Write a topic. The Write a personal topic screen is displayed.
  5. Do the following in this screen:
    1. In the Title field, enter a title for your topic.
    2. In the Content text box, enter the content for your topic. Use any of the formatting options available to format the content as needed.
  6. Click Save. The new topic is displayed in your personal book, and is automatically added to the Table of Contents.
